Founder of Green Greener in 2021, he is an experienced Crop Physiologist, with a solid experience in experimental design, commercial product development, field biology, team building, project management, coaching and technical information transfer. Recognized for clear communication of technical information, out-of-the-box thinking, flexibility, analytical thinking and ability to delegate responsibilities.
CEO - Fabrizio Barozzi
Dr. Fabrizio Barozzi received his Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and his Master's degree in Agri-food Biotechnology from the University of Verona. He then obtained his PhD at the Plant Transport and Compartmentalization Laboratory under the guidance of Prof. Gian Pietro Di Sansebastiano at the University of Salento. During his PhD he spent 6 months at the laboratory of Prof. Federica Brandizzi at MSU-DOE PRL (East Leansing, Michigan, USA). He then worked as a Post-Doc at the UNIVERSITÄT BAYREUTH at the Department of Plant Physiology of Prof. Stephan Clemens (Bayreuth, BY, DE) specializing in plant stress due to arsenic with molecular biology and bioinformatics approaches. He is currently working as a Post-Doc at the Plant Transport and Compartmentalization Laboratory under the guidance of Prof. Gian Pietro Di Sansebastiano of the University of Salento thanks to a RIPARTI project concerning the production of functional foods based on barley enriched in β-glucans.
CTO - Chiara Anglana
Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Green Greener, is pursuing a PhD in Plant Biotechnology and Botany at the University of Salento. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and a Master's Degree in Agri-food Biology, followed by a Master's Degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Salento. In the company, she is involved in research and development of biostimulant products and propagation of aquatic mosses in different systems. Skills: plant biotechnology, plant physiology, agri-food microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry.

Green Greener deals with research and development of products and services in the field of plant biotechnology. It uses expert researchers and a valid scientific support network with collaborations with universities such as the University of Salento and research institutions such as Fondazione Edmund Mach, ISPA-CNR and IBBR-CNR.

Prof. Gian Pietro Di Sansebastiano, associate professor at the University of Salento since November 2014, is co-founder of Green Greener. Graduated with honors in Biology in 1993, he obtained his PhD in 1999 at the University of Neuchâtel (CH). He worked as a research associate at the Friedrich Miescher Institut in Basel (CH) and at the Imperial College of Wye (London-UK).
Prof. Ariel D. Arencibia from the Catholic University of Maule, Talca - Chile, is a researcher and academic in the fields of applied biotechnology with experience at CIGB Cuba, UFSCar and UFRJ in Brazil, GXAAS in China, technology transfer services and scientific consultancy in Mexico, Panama, Brazil and Italy (Green Greener Srl). Director of Research, Development and Innovation projects (to date), author of patents in the field of genetic engineering and biotechnology, Director of the Faculty of Engineering and Biotechnology of the UCM (2012-2016). Director of the Doctorate in Translational Biotechnology of the UCM (2022).
